What people ask
Plain answers to honest questions. If you don't find yours, bring it to the next satsang or a private session.

Some answers land better spoken than read — watch Swami Aditya meet real questions directly, in English.
What is satsang?
Satsang is simply sitting together in truth. In practice, it is a live online gathering: a short teaching, a period of silence, and open questions answered directly. The value is not only the words; it is the shared presence of inquiry.
Do I need to be Hindu, religious, or experienced to join?
No. The teaching is drawn from the living wisdom of Sanatan Dharma — the whole Vedic tradition, not one text or sect — and is offered as practical wisdom, not religious membership. People from any background, faith, or none are welcome.
What happens in a private guidance session?
You bring the question or situation that is actually on your mind. Swami Aditya meets it directly, using the living wisdom of Sanatan Dharma as a lens. It is confidential, unhurried, and not therapy or a sales call.
What does “Baba” mean?
Literally, Baba means father. In a spiritual context it points to someone in whom wisdom, steadiness, and care have become the dominant qualities. It is a title of intimacy and respect, not a guarantee.
What is karma?
Karma means action. In the Vedic view, every thought, word, and deed leaves a trace and shapes conditions. It is not cosmic punishment; it is the natural link between what we do and what follows.
What is tantra?
Tantra is the connection of body, mind, and soul through practical tools such as mantra, yantra, yoga, and Ayurveda. It is not only about sex or ritual; it is a systematic approach to expanding awareness.
What are Vata, Pitta, and Kapha?
These are the three Ayurvedic constitutions, or doshas, made from the five elements. They describe tendencies in body and mind—movement, transformation, and stability—not medical diagnoses.
How do mantras work?
A mantra gives the mind a steady place to land. Through repetition and intention, it concentrates attention and creates an inner atmosphere where meditation becomes possible. The sound is the doorway, not the destination.
Can I learn meditation as a complete beginner?
Yes. The simplest start is to sit, follow the breath, and return to it when the mind wanders. Mantra meditation is another gentle entry: choose a simple sound and repeat it with attention.
What does Swami Aditya teach?
Sanatan Dharma — the eternal way of living in harmony with natural law. A sannyasi in the ancient Shankaracharya tradition, he draws on the whole living Vedic tradition (parampara) rather than one text or sect: mantra japa, tapa, meditation, Jyotish, Ayurveda and tantra — whichever source best answers the question in front of you.
Are satsang and private guidance a replacement for therapy?
No. The teaching is educational and spiritual guidance, not medical, mental-health, or therapeutic treatment. For health concerns, please consult a licensed professional.
How do I join from a different timezone?
Satsang is hosted online, and the time on this site is shown in your local timezone. A recording is shared with everyone who attends, so you can listen back if the live time is difficult.
You have a right to your actions, but never to the fruits of your actions. Let not the results be your motive.
